In the bar on the left hand side of the screen, choose the thing that looks like a square with a cross through it. [near the top]
Once you have chosen that, drag the mouse over the area you want cropped.
The part that will be cut off should appear in gray.
Right click and choose "Crop", or "cancel" if you want to cancel your selection.
Open your image, press C (shortcut for the crop tool) or you can click on the crop tool located in the left hand column. Then drag out to desired cropping point, right click and press crop or hit enter.
There are several ways to crop image but usually most users crop with Crop Tool which is on left side of screen at Toolbox. Shortcut to activate Crop Tool is letter C. Click and drag to draw shape then confirm with Enter.

Within Itunes you should be able to rename your photos, but I'm not sure you can do it right on the ipad its self.

Technically Adobe Photoshop is not a photo processor. Adobe Photoshop is just a place where you can edit your photos and other imagery. It has nothing to do with photo processing.
Although ACDSee Photo Software and Photoshop have many similar qualities, many would agree Photoshop is the better choice for general photo editing. ACDSee Photo Software is more specific for digital scrapbook editing.
