Where does energy come from that allows you to move?

You move as a result of stored chemical energy, basically sugars. The sugars breakdown to water and carbon dioxide and release electrical energy that enervates muscles, that move you.

How does the rose make energy?

The rose plant does not make energy, it traps energy coming form the sun and stores this as sugars by the process of photosynthesis.

Were is the sun's energy stored?

The sun stores energy in the subatomic particles (mostly hydrogen nuclei) of the plasma that makes it up. As our local star fuses these subatomic particles into helium and heavier nuclei, tremendous energy is liberated in the process. This is the engine by which the sun derives it power, and the term we apply to the process is stellar nucleosynthesis. Later in life, the sun will fuse progressively heavier nuclei together until it is primarily iron, then burn out and die. On earth, the energy of the sun that reaches here is stored as thermal energy in the materials on the earth. (A lot of this is re-radiated back into space at night.) It is also stored as chemical energy in plants. That chemical energy is transferred to animals. To a small degree, it is stored as electrical energy when we use solar (photovoltaic) panels to charge batteries.

What provides most of the earths energy?

As far as I know the sun provides ALL of the energy used by life on earth. Except maybe nuclear by humans, but photosynthesis in plants and that is the same energy stored in sugars and then used by metabolism from eating the sugars, oil is the same energy stored millions of years ago and being used now, same with coal, and solar obviously and without the sun there would be no wind so wind power too. And OTHER stars created the heavy elements used for nuclear power by the process of fission(In Theory).

What process converts the suns energy into sugars?

In a plant, the process is called Photosynthesis. It is when the plant absorbs the sun's energy and makes G3P, a sugar that is made into Glucose- another sugar.

What is the process of capture energy from sunlight?

Photosynthesis is the process used by plants to capture the energy that comes to us from the sun that is then held in starch or sugars.

What is the sequence of energy transformation during photosynthesis?

solar energy → potential energy stored in electrons and ATP → chemical energy stored in sugars

What kind of chemical reactions that release energy from sugars?

The oxidation/ reduction of sugars release energy during respiration. The phenomenon of liberation of energy from sugars is a katabolic process. It may be aerobic or anaerobic. The oxidation/ reduction of sugars release energy during respiration. The phenomenon of liberation of energy from sugars is a katabolic process. How do fossil fuels store energy?

Fossil fuels contain the chemical energy that plants and algae obtained from sunlight and then stored in sugars. Just as energy chemical energy is stored in sugars, chemical energy is stored in fossil fuels. All it takes to release it is enough heat and oxygen to cause the fuel to burn.
