Animal cells do not make food; instead, they obtain energy by consuming organic materials. They rely on a process called cellular respiration, where glucose and oxygen are converted into energy (ATP), carbon dioxide, and water. This process occurs in the mitochondria of the cells. Unlike plant cells, which can perform photosynthesis to produce their own food, animal cells must rely on their diet for energy.

well it depends wether it is an animal or plant cell. If its an animal cell, its the mitochondria, which uses sugars to make energy, and in plants its the chloroplasts, which gather sunlight that make sugars and then it uses the sugrs to make energy for itself.

Animal cells divide and replicate to make new cells through a process called cell division. During cell division, a parent cell divides into two daughter cells, each containing a complete set of genetic material. This process allows animal cells to make new cells and replenish tissues in the body.
In plant cells, they have little bags called chloroplasts which hold Chlorophyll. Chloroplasts are what give plants their green colour, as well as their ability to photosynthesise, and are held in the cytoplasm. Animal cells do not have Chloroplasts or chlorophyll.
Plant cells make their own food in a process called photosynthesis, and no animal cell can do this. The plant structure that enables this function is the chloroplasts on the plant cell.
