I found this question online and was hoping to see a response to it. My dog has just been diagonised with all three and I am trying to make a non-emotional decision based solely on what is right for my dog and his quality of life. He is currently hospitalized...but I am trying to make a fair decision on how far to go with treatment. We are trying a plasma treatment and he is on other meds and painkillers at the time. My referring vets suggestion was to see how he is in 48 hours and be prepared to make a decision then.
Your question shows signs of canine diabetes or cushings disease, that may not be the cause, please go to the vet NOW

Canine diabetes.
Canine diabetes.
No & yes If dog has only diabetes, answer is no But if dog is getting improper(more than required) insulin as a treatment for diabetes mellitus, answer is yes because lower blood sugar to brain can result in seizures. other scenario where a diabetic dog can have seizures is if diabetes has gone so severe that it is now a new disease refered to as DKA (diabetic keto acidosis). an emergency with poor prognosis as ketones in blood can produce seizures. I hope this answers ur question.

Yes, any dog can have diabetes.
Well if your dog is old the muscles of its bladder may be getting weak so... anyway.. if your dog is still quite young then the best thing to do is take it to a vet. Dogs can and do indeed pee while they are sleeping. There are many vet sites that explain what the issues might be.
