The Jews (those of Judah) were part of the promise given to Abraham, passed on to Isaac and then to Jacob (Israel) but not to Ishmael. You will find that covenant written in Genesis 15 and 17.
Further there is prophecy concerning the Jews specifically, written in Jeremiah 24 and specifically related to today. "Thus says the Lord God of Israel: Like these good figs, so will I regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good. And I will set My eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them back to this land; and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up."
