Yes it does, it will automatically add air to the rear bags if people get in the back and if people get out of the back it will release air, it corrects itself to proper ride height, even when your going down the road its adds or releases. If you hear a buzzing sound for 5 to 10 seconds that's your air ride, my 01 Continental has it and its wonderfull.
On the air springs.
No it should not. They have a ride height switch, which cycles the compressor. You probably have an air leak in the system.
This is a common mistake, the first animal to ride in a hot air ballon was a gorrila named "Heasman", he was choosen to go up in the hot air balloon due to his height of 3ft 2.
With the proper pressure, no.
possibly the height sensors came unplugged rear or front but that will dissable the pump.
Lower the vehicle ride height or install air dam and/or ground effect bodywork.
It is an air compressor for ride height control
Look up Tech resource Wiki - How to adjustrear air suspension
If the primary air system on the tractor is already charged, it should air up within 20 seconds.
Yes. You loosen the two bolts which hold the leveling valve in place. The bottom hole is oblong to allow adjustments to the ride height to me made. Rotate it counterclockwise, and you'll lower the ride height. Rotate it clockwise, and you'll raise it.
The height sensor is attached to the body above the center of the rear axle. It is connected to the track bar viaa link that moves the arm on the height sensorup (when the bodylowers due to load) and down (when the body raises due to removal of a load).
