Their loyalty and boldness. Most schnauzers (mostly giant) are very protective and loyal to their owners.Their boldness is that they are not afraid to look straight into your soul.They stare you down and also chase animals.
A beard I guess... Because there suppose to catch mice but if the mice jump on their necks,there beard helps them from getting hurt.
