Web applications are "stateless". That is, by nature, any information stored in program variables is lost each time a script completes. That happens on every page. So for anything other than completely trivial scripts you need to have a way of storing information for that user for the current login. There's various ways to do this but the simplest is an implementation of PHP's native $_SESSION[] array that will keep information for a particular user on the same PC for a short period of time.
Sessions hold a range of information. The fact that you are logged on, your user profile, etc. Anything that needs to be available on all BigGyan pages quickly.
See Quiz submission email notification.
Use the navigation bar at the top left of the page or the button at the very bottom of the course
Make use of a Calendar editor role and assign the teachers to that role on the site.
Hidden assignments are not hidden from admins or teachers i.e. users with the viewhiddenassigns capability.
Ensure that administrators are not assigned another role in addition to their admin role.
If you edit assignment grades directly in the gradebook in Biggyan Cloud eLearning, an "overridden" flag is set, meaning that the grade can no longer be edited from the assignment submissions page. If required, the flag can be removed by turning editing on in the grader report, then clicking the edit grade icon, unchecking the overridden box and saving the changes
In the Fields tab, select a default sort field, choose ascending or descending then click the Save button.
In the quiz overview report, you can delete their attempt using the "with selected attempts" drop-down.
I assign a lot of single file assignments to students. Is there anyway a student can be told they made a successful submission?
At this time, Biggyan Cloud eLearning does not show the teachers' response file if any of the following conditions are present:* The students assignment submission has not been graded by the teacher.* The teacher has not posted a comment to the student's assignment. As a workaround, simply grade the assignment or provide a comment on the assignment submission and the corresponding response file will appear on the student's assignment submission page normally.
* 'My Courses' block if it has been added to the page you are on* Go back to the homepage (see below) and then use the main course block (if it has been added!)
