Chlorophyll are tiny particles on the upper surface of a leaf. Their job is to collect sunlight, and create glucose (a.k.a plant food) which refuels the plant, and helps give off oxygen.
it captures light for photosynthesis to take place in the chloroplast ( organelle in the leaf)
