There are many different "standard" sets of safety rules. Here are three:The Gunsite four basic safety rules are:Treat every gun as if it were loaded.Never point a gun at anything you don't want to shoot.Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.Always be sure of your target and what is beyond it.The NRA basic safety rules are:Always point the gun in a safe directionKeep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.Always keep the gun unloaded until ready to use.The US Military basic firearm safety rules:Assume every weapon you encounter is loaded.Keep the muzzle of your weapon up and down range (pointed away from yourself and other personnel in a safe direction).Keep your weapon safety on until you are ready to fire.Keep your firing finger outside of the trigger housing until you are ready to fire. (this is your second safety)Do not put your weapon on the intended target unless you know what is behind it.Do not put your weapon on the intended target until you are ready to fire.Do not put your weapon on target unless you intend to fire it.When you put your weapon on target, fire. When you fire your weapon, do not pull, flinch, or jerk...breathe and squeeze the trigger. When you have finished firing your weapon, remove the magazine, clear the breach, and ensure all rounds are secured.
I think you should be able to spell safety before you can fire a weapon
TREAT, NEVER, KEEP,KEEP Treat every weapon as if it were loaded Never point at anything that you do not intend to shoot keep weapon on safe until you are ready to fire keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you intend to fire
NOTHING. The top 10 list for firearms is SAFETY in all ten spots. Appearance means nothing if the weapon is not SAFE. Caliber means nothing if the weapon is not SAFE. Manufacturer name means nothing unless the weapon is SAFE. Type of action means nothing if the weapon is not SAFE. Age of the weapon means nothing if the weapon is not SAFE.
Weapon Conditions: Weapon Condition #4: Magazine removed, chamber empty, bolt forward, safety on, ejection port cover closed Weapon Condition #3: Magazine inserted, chamber empty, bolt forward, safety on, ejection port cover closed Weapon Condition #2: This rule does not apply to M16A4 Service Rifle.. Weapon Condition #1: Magazine inserted, round in chamber, bolt forward, safety on, ejection port cover closed.
Safety is safety regardless of the weapon type and there are safety lists that vary from 3-10 "rules" Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to shoot Never pur your finger on a firearm trigger until you are ready to shoot Never fire unless you are sure of your target and backstop Never take your weapon off safe until you are ready to shoot. Never pass a loaded weapon over/under an obsruction
ALL AMMUNITION IS REMOVED, CHAMBER IS EMPTY, ACTION IS CLOSED, AND SAFETY IS ON. which general condition code is this?
typhus
Poisonous Gas
You can deviate away from the rules when someone else does it first.
