Its becomes a very reactive and explosive alcohol when it is oxidized. The hydroxide molecule in the alcohol steals Hydrogen from the peroxide and gives off three gasses; Hydrogen Dioxide, carbon dioxide and oxygen making the entire reaction very explosive.
