Probably but you should use the grade recommended in the owners manual. All of the sensors and the computer are calibrated to the recommended fuel.
Use exactly what the manufacturer recommends. On all that I have seen they recommend 87 octane. I have seen some 2 cycles that recommended 89 octane.
87 octane unless it's a later-model ETC, then 91-93 should be used
87 octane regular. Using any other higher octane fuel is a total waste of money and will provide no benefit whatsoever.

Yes. Using a lower grade of fuel then is recommended will reduce your mileage, performance, and increase your emissions. You can always use a higher grade as well.
