After that, they became good friends and Littlecloud was upset about Cinderpelt's death. It was hinted in Night Whispers that Littlecloud was in love with her.

Cinderpelt and Littlecloud are both medicine cats from different Clans in the Warriors book series. They do not have a direct relationship, but they interact during gatherings and when seeking advice or sharing news about their Clans' well-being. They show mutual respect for each other's roles as healers in their respective Clans.

By the time Leafpool gets back to ThunderClan, Cinderpelt had already been gravely injured in her attempt to protect Sorreltail from the badger attack as she kitted. After Cinderpelt dies, Sorreltail names her gray kit Cinderkit for both the similarities between her kit and Cinderpelt and also in memory of her.
