  • It all started from the beginning.according to bible it sas that god made world and there was no religions but when Adam made the first sin the first religion appeared and then people started to make up their own religions.so that is why
  • Religion plays such an important role because it helps to keep the society under control with the fear of some super force that would punish them if they failed to respectfully obey the commands of their imperial lords and masters.

They created a set of social rules called morals and they said that it would be a punishable offence called sin, with damnation in a dungeon called hell, for anyone to disobey the religious decree.

  • Because people are stupid and believe anything the government tells them and the government realizes this...if people did not believe that what they did now would affect their "next life" then there would be no reason not to break the law and kill people and do whatever you want...it's just a way to keep people under control.

  • to me religion is a system of governance but not a wall of blockage, and so by no solution to all guns, this system have improve most human brain to have self control, and prevent a silent knife that can even kill with no trace but clean society.
  • The role it is currently playing is creating more social divisiveness and animosities among people at every level. The only part it could play is to continue the prejudice and disharmony it is infamous for.

1. It is a social control mechanism. It helps to create a common culture and to make certain behaviors unacceptable.

2. It can be a safety net. People who are poor or in trouble can often turn to their religion for help.

3. It can help mobilize people for a cause, such as the example of pastors meeting to help end racism.
