Science and logic are heavily intertwined. Logic is the attempt to explain things in a sensical way based on observations and evidence instead of guesses and instead of the making up of fairy tales.

For example: if you see a rock on the ground, it is logical to assume that it hasn't been moved in a long time. It would be illogical to assume that somebody threw it if nobody was around or if you didn't see anybody throw it.

Science is the attempt to aplly logic to the world so as to correctly and accurately figure out how it works. In science, you use logic to deduce the how, why, what, who, and where of something. It is the scientist's most important tool. All of science is based on logic.

Logic is what we remember of an ancient Greek parlor game: you could get any results you wanted by just changing the rules. Logic is the primary tool in all fields of science, but still people keep trying to change the rules.

Religion is defined in The Bible as men telling each other what to do. IOW they are making up rules, just like they do in the logic game.

Many people grow tired of the games and reject all spirituality as a hoax, never having learned enough logic to sort through the baloney.

Spiritual matters are not proven by logic. Science is proven by logic. No connection. Science is anything that can be measured. Spirit is anything that can not be measured. The only way we can know anything about the spirit realm is if some spirit chooses to reveal it to us. All the revelations have been collected into a book. Anybody can read the book and decide for themselves whether to believe or disbelieve. Read the bible from Romans to 2 Thessalonians over and over until you start to remember what it says. That is the part that applies to Christians. Keep reading until you start to notice it says some things that are different from what you have been told it says. Keep reading until you figure out that the bible is more reliable than those people who told you different things. Here is a book to help you to understand the bible. It's a free download and you can get a hard copy at any bible book store.

Is logic social science?

No, logic is not considered a form of social science; it is usually treated as a branch of mathematics, particularly when used to design computer programs, but sometimes it is a branch of rhetoric or oratory, or of philosophy. Science certainly uses logic, but logic is not a form of science, since science is based on observation and logic is based purely on abstract thought.
