Pet mice should be kept at room temperature, depending on where you live in the world. Obviously colder environments may need some warming device and for warmer areas, you can freeze a small bottle of water and place that in their enclosure. Personally i keep my mice in a well ventilated room that is a comfortable 23 Celsius - 28 Celsius. I would also suggest buying a small cage thermometer so you can track the temperature. You will notice they are more active in warmth and vice versa. Pet Mice Rule!
I have loads of experience with rats mice and other pets, but today a friend found 12 baby rats. And so I now have 12 baby rats to care for. Their eyes arn"t open yet. What kind of feeding and care tips can you help me with?
Mice are not very tolerant of temperatures that are too hot or too cold. Room temp is perfect but in the summer make sure theres a fan available if the cage is going to get hot and vice versa in the winter, use a few extra blankets if too cold.
It all depends on if they have their mother. If they do, don't worry, their mother will take care of it. If not, well, I'm sorry, I can't help you. :(
Pinkies (hairless baby mice) should not be handled. Wait until they have hair. Pinkies rely on warmth, and can die if away from the nest which is just the right temp for them.
if your temp is above 85 in the summer than yes.
