Black is a color, not a breed or a hybrid of any kind.
Originally horses came in bay and a mutation occurred which allowed red and black to separate from each other. Black is connected to Agouti, and red (chestnut or sorrel) on extension.
How this works is that the two alleles at extension determine if black is a possible color, and the two alleles at Agouti controls where it is placed.
If a horse is ee at extension he's red, a red horse can have any Agouti status, but it will not show, but can be passed down to it's offspring unless it is aa, which means there is no Agouti present.
EE plus aa means that a horse is Homozygous (dominant) for black, Ee plus aa means the horse is Heterozygous (Recessive) for black.
EE, Ee, plus AA or Aa means the horse is bay with varying abilities to pass on Agouti, Black, and Red.
Hybrid?? Er, many breeds can be black, including crossbreds. Friesians are always black with usually NO white mrkings.
It would be brown foal.

Brown,white and black
it is a horse when you get horses with brown bodies and black mane and tails then that horse is therefore bay so it would be the breed of horse which is "cob" so it is a cob that has a brown body and a black mane and tail.
A 'white' horse with a black mane and tail would really be a grey horse that has not finished going completely white coated. A grey horse no matter the shade of it's body hair will always have grey skin, while a truly white horse will have pink skin.
ANSWER #1: Dark brown horses usually have a lighter brown coloured muzzle and underbelly , whereas black horses are completely jet black and don't have lighter areas. ANSWER #2: In the horse world, terminologies related to horse color can seem quite confusing. :D To make it easier, just remember that there are actually VERY FEW truly BLACK horses. Most "black" horses have brown on their body somewhere (usually the muzzle/nose & belly as stated above). Even though a horse may appear to be jet black, if they have ANY brown on their body ANYWHERE, then they are classified as a brown horse. A black is just that - totally black with no brown. (White markings such as socks or stockings on the legs or stars or blazes on the face are okay. They would still be classified as a black as long as there is no brown)
A Equid is a type of horse and all the horses together including the Zebra,Brown horse and the black horse.
sorrel- a horse with a redish brown coat color. NO BLACK AT ALL. there can be white leg and face markings bay- a horse with a reddish brown coal with a black main, tail, and stripe down the back
Justin Morgan's horse was a bay (dark brown with black points).
A bay horse is brown with a black mane and tail.
A female brown horse with a black mane and tail
No, for a horse to be truly black it is very uncommon. To be considered fully black the coat has to be black. The eyes are usually brown. There are no sun spots or white spots on their skin. Their coats must be wholly black to be considered a true black horse.
no but if it does your horse is most likely to die of a slow painful death
