Calgary is the richest major city. It is so rich that it makes Alberta the richest province. Alberta is so rich that it makes Canada one of the richest countries.

Calgary is one of the richest cities in Canada? why is that? It is because it has the largest share of the oil industry in Canada and the taxes are very low which encouraged a vast amount of businesses in the province. The oil industry and it's suppliers pay very good wages to their employees thus people say it is easy to become rich in Alberta.
