Pramana means which shows its prameya.Word and its meaning were called as pramana and its prameya.

Inbetween these two there is time and space which should be recognised.Otherwise one gets a mistaken identity as one to the other. One should be careful with index and indexed.

Pramana is used in several forms to establish its prameya or else may be known as a proposition.
