It provides appealing visual environment, over all ambiance, experience, and comfort. Facilities also becomes an attraction itself, it engage and entertain guests. Aside from the tangible assest facilities provide, they also provide comfort, they provide warmth and protection from the elemt. Facilities also provide the the structure to provide their guest the things they need, i.e. laundry, food, etc. And last, facility act as an identifier to guest. i.e. a 1 year old kid cannot read but know what a McDonald store looks like.

Facilities in large modern hotels are numerous and may include : restaurants, bar, banquet hall, busiuness conference centre, business service, executive club, recreation, out door games, Bowling alley, casino and many other features. Planning of all these because of their diverse nature cannot be covered by one person. Different consultants may be required for each group of facilities, of which food service consultant is the most important....jsip
