if it's in the Electron transport chain...then its the terminal electron acceptor
yes it is. oxygen and glucose are both required.
The electron transport chain. Oxygen is the last electron acceptor.
Aerobic - in the presence of oxygen Anaerobi
Mitochondria
anaerobic respiration
The first stage of cellular respiration is called glycolysis. It takes place in the cytoplasm of the cell and needs no oxygen.
it is not involved sorry 7th graders

If by respiration you mean cell respiration, then yes oxygen is consumed in the process of cell respiration. As a matter of fact, oxygen is the last electron acceptor in the electron transport chain, the last stage of cell respiration. In cell respiration, you produce ATP, which is essentially used by your body to get energy. That is why you need oxygen! !!
Mitochondria
anaerobic respiration
Glycolisis is the step of respiration occurs in cytoplasm. It do not need O2.
for cellular respiration a process of oxidation takes place at some stage (aerobic) while in fermentation it is in abscence of oxygen(anaerobic)
they need oxygen.
fermentation will occur.
