The elect are any persons who study the word of God, find truth and hold to the teachings of Jesus Christ not believing in the false teachings of other religious leaders who decieve many by teaching things people want to hear. It is only those who study the word carefully that will not be decieve and thus will inherit the kingdom with Christ.
