It does not matter if you are connected through wireless or cable, your router can provide firewall protection for all of its ports on the LAN side. If your question is: Is my wireless router's firewall protecting me, although I do use it for wireless connectivity, the answer is yes. Your routers firewall protects you whether you use the wireless option or not.
You need to log in your router, and enable security for wireless networks.
I should be able to help with this - but unfortunately I'm not quite following the question!! Could you rephrase and draw me a little verbal picture...the wording is confusing me a little. Thanks.
Yes you can try to use his/her wireless network , but you need to make sure he can offer you the network for using, such like the wirelesss network password, and make sure his wirelss network is power on. Thanks. And you need to buy a xbox 360 wireless adapter ,
You will need to get a wireless router in order to set up for a wireless internet.
, 1. With wireless you can move around with a computer compared to wired when you have to be close to a router or a switch. 2. It is cheaper to connect more people to a network where as with wired you keep having to buy switches to expand the network. Thanks Samtuckonline
no I am sorry but you don't.
The "padlocked" wireless spots are secured networks that local residents/businesses have. You cannot access them without the password that those residents/businesses set up for their system. You have to log into your own wireless network via a router or go to a Nintendo wifi hotspot. You can find out where the hotspots are near you at nintendowifi.com
Hi Jeanne, we won't be able to tell you what the wifi password is - to get that information, you'll need to ask whoever set up the wireless network. If it was your cable company, then there should be a sheet with your information on it that they gave you. If you're locked out of your own network and can't get back in for some reason, you can hard-reset the router by holding the 'reset' button on the back for 30 seconds straight. This will reset the router to an open network configuration - you will need to log back in and setup your wireless access credentials if you wish to make the network private again. Thanks!
Teri Pall is the inventor of the wireless telephone :D someone please edit this thanks :D
Hi, Buy RPC Switch to power on or power off routers / switches. www.dataprobe.com can help you. Thanks.
they are the same and no they are not secure! Wireless Internet is only a part of Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi referring to all "wireless" connectivity under a certain broadcasting frequency. So, in short, there is no difference.
There are several wireless internet providers, you can try Verizon,or Sprint.
