there are many differances in cars from the 60's and the cars of today. One big difference is that the cars of the 60's where all carburated, meaning they had a carburetor. Now nearly all cars have some type of EFI or electronic fuel injection. Also, in the 60's most all of the engine components were run mechanically. Today, more and more components of a vehicles engine rely on some type of computer or electronic system to operate, making them more efficient, but harder to service and more expensive!!!!
They both use energy to propel the vehicle. Solar cars do not exist in todays world and need serious technology increases before they will be viable.
The same way as most other cars were in the 1960's, 1970's and 1980's
the cars is same
Muscle cars in the 80's...weren't really Muscle cars except for the Buick GN/GNX and the Turbo Trans-am 4.3L Turbo. They Technology didn't catch up to the ideal, until the early 90's. Even then the tire technology was still 10 yrs behind and didn't catch up until the michelin Cup tires were released. That's why, Old super/muscle cars aren't compareable to to todays cars. Drag slicks in the 1960's were as sticky as Track/dot legal slicks of today. A good example is that a 1968 Hurst Hemi Cuda would KILL a Dogde demon, McLaren 720s, or 911 GT2 RS with the same tires.
The exact same transport as today. The only exception is the Hovercraft and Mag Lev train which did not exist then.

Everything has changed. From the type of materials used to make them lighter and safer and to the interiors that show you more about what the vehicle is doing. There are now safety devices including seatbelts and airbags to fuel injection systems. Nothing is the same as it was.
More energy involved.
No thats because that is somewhere between 1954 and 1960
Same as the U.S.A. as we are in the same trading zone. Although there are some model differences between the two markets.
Same as all cars, between the engine compartment and the driver,
At a higher speed, more kinetic energy is involved.
