Vista may be very slow, and has security issues asking permission for too many things. so Windows 7 is better. i do prefer the look of vista but windows 7 is definitely the better OS.

There are no real benefits to running Windows 2000 instead of Windows 7. Windows 2000 is no longer supported so any security vulnerabilities will not be patched and any issues will not be corrected.
