Everyone knows Sephiroth. The mighty warrior. The most ruthless fighter. The One-winged Angel. He has been a scourge to final fantasy characters throughout the course of Square Enix history. Sephiroths mutations are indeed unatural. Not one evil appendage on him grew naturally. After completely loosing his mind, his father filled his blood with a chemical known as Mako. A sort of radioactive steroid, Mako, gives the subject incredible and unleveled strength. Sephiroth received such a high dosage that it became a natural part of his blood. Mako has been used to alter characters such as Yuffie, Tifa, Leon, and others. But Cloud is probably the most prominent carrier of the Sephiroth gene. The Sephiroth gene, though a great power inhancer, is actually a disease and that tears you apart. It is symbolized by a network of markings on someones arm or leg. For this reason many of the third generation characters wear black to hide their shame. Clouds Sephiroth gene is the worst of any of the characters in the square enix universe. Using his own blood, Sephiroth gave an insane amount of mako to cloud make his Sephiroth Gene totally out of control. As a side affect to the amount of mako in his blood, Cloud grew a wing. Opposite to that of Sephiroths. This wing was suppose to belong to sephiroth himself but giving away so much and putting it into cloud, he lost it. Their wings have and always will be a symbol of their linkage. If that wasnt bad enough, Sephiroth soon gained the power to control cloud through his sephiroth gene. Using the full extent of his control, sephiroth drove cloud insane and made him kill the person whom he had cared about most, Aerith. For that Cloud resented sephiroth and scourned himself every day since and at each encounter Sephiroth reminded cloud to torture him
