Electrical energy is stored chemically in the battery of your car to start the engine. That's the first transfer.

The gasoline or diesel fuel in your tank burns internally in the engine to make mechanical motion of the crankshaft. Chemical energy to mechanical. That's the second transfer.

The spinning crankshaft turns the transmission, which turns the gears in the axle connected to the wheels. That's mechanical to mechanical. That's the last transfer of energy.

There is an alternator that turns mechanical energy into electrical energy and finally back into chemical energy as the battery is recharged....ready to start all over again next time you start your car.

The Sun's energy shines on plants which take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere to make leaves etc. The plants die and decay into carbon fuel. In the car the carbon is mixed with oxygen from the air and burned to produce heat that force a piston down to produce mechanical energy to turn the crankshaft. Burning the fuel also produces carbon dioxide that goes out the exhaust pipe. So the carbon goes back where it started. Each year we are using many years' worth of the original sunlight process, so carbon dioxide is building up in the Earth's atmosphere.

How do you conduct Mechanical Energy?

You transfer the momentum through lever, gear, shaft, hydraulic push to the final destination. Example: Car engine combust the fuel and expansion of hot gas push the piston that transfer the motion to lever that transfer to gear and rotate shaft that transfer this mechanical energy to the wheel and make car running.
