If you get the model and serial numbers off the engine, you can probably find the part at a local mower repair shop or at Sear's.
they are usually stamped in the flywheel blower housing or on the ohv valve cover or on a tag near the controls. the number is 5 or 6 digits possibly containing letters. the 4 numbers following that is the type
If that is a cast iron engine its 5 horse, look up Smiths small engines in Google that's were I get all my old parts.AnswerI used to have this really old snapper rider that i had to reguild the engine on and I found parts through the local lawn mower shops and through online lawn mower parts sites. The specs regarding oil for a Troy-Bilt blower can be found by looking in the owners manual. If it isn't around, use the web (www.troybilt.com) and pull up a copy. (You'll need your model number & serial number to view the manual.) It's SAE 30 lubricant, by the way, and the original oil by Briggs & Stratton (the manufacturers of the engine) is available from Sears. (The wise person would call ahead.)
It is a Murray product though I could not tell you if it is the Noma division. All belong to Briggs & Stratton now. The manual is available from Sear at the ManageMyLife.com site and is linked below.
