both orange-yellow and likely to die within the hour
a goldifish and burning candle are both orange(sometimes). also they look smooth. for example the fins of a fish look wavy and the candle does to
One is a fish and one is the flame of burning candles...
A goldfish is a living thing but a flame is not. Both require oxygen to survive. A goldfish can reproduce, but a flame can't. They both interact with their surroundings. They have different surroundings.
Goldfish have remarkably little similarity to the flame of a burning candle. However, the colors are similar, both are a bright yellow.
the differences a goldfish and a flame
Similarities:
- both have mass
- both have motion
- you can stare at them and be entertained
- both burn carbon and produce CO2
Differences:
- the goldfish is alive
- when the candle is out, the goldfish will still be swimming
- one can't function in water, the other can't function without it
Like all things that evolved on earth both snakes and fish have all the necessary attributes required to survive in their own specific areas/conditions. They are both cold blooded. There must be many other similarities but there will be just as many differences as similarities. BTW, snakes are reptiles but they are reputed to be closer to man genetically than many other mammalian creatures.
Scientifically, there aren't too many, aside from the fact that they are both fish, of course. 😏 ichthyologically speaking, they are COMPLETELY different animals. They don't even mate the same way.
Like scientifically or just any? They are both hardy. Both are ignorantly underestimated by beginners. Both are sold by ignorant retailers. Both will readily eat at any given moment. Both eat their own young. Both are relatively timid fish. Anything in particular?
Whales and Goldfish are both vertebrates. Whales, however are air breathing mammals, and goldfish are egg laying scaled fish.
They both tend to have long, delicate, fins.
Both can tolerate water between 65-85 degrees, both are colorful, both eat a lot, both are notorious for eating their young, the list goes on.
They are living things
they both have smoth skin
they both have eyes
both can have sex
what are the similarities between grouper and tuna
well...some people are fish like and some fish are human like... :/
The ants eat food so do students. Ants have a home so do students. students have eyes so do ants Someone else wrote that, but I wrote this: If the student is strong, that is similar, if he/she is small, that is similar, if people like stepping on them, that is similar. But I think you shouldn't step on ants.
they both see
difference-Ants live in anthills and bees live in hives. similarities-Ants and bees are insects.
ants
Yes, if the ants can actually go into the fish tank.
In the animal kingdom, the relationship of army ants and silver fish is a perfect example of commensalism. Silver fish cover their bodies with the scent of the younger ants to make sure the older ants do not see them as intruders and kill them.
A group of army ants would only eat a dead fish on land.
both fish
There are many similarities between fish and humans. Fish and humans have many of the same organs. We both have a digestive system and a reproductive system.
fish have scales and fish and reptiles can both stay under water
There are three major similarities between a fish and a snake: Both have scales on their body. They do not have visible ears. Both lay eggs.
