Hi, According to Crutchfield.com, they are 6x8 and the front are 6 1/2. Hope this helps. Steve H.
I believe that the back speakers are 6x9, but the fronts are 6x8.
2 in front 2 in back.
The speakers in a 1998 Ford Taurus are 6X8, or 5X7. 6X8 and 5X7 would both mount in it, but the 6X8 are obviously bigger. Only bad thing is you won't be able to use any good looking speaker grilles because the metal covers in the back.
1995 Taurus - Sable front speakers are 6.5 and back are 6 x 9
They are 5x7 or 6x8. Either work.
My 1992 had 6" Factory Round speakers in the front doors and 6 X 8 Factory speakers in the back. My 1998 has Factory 6X 8 speakers in the back (extended cab) and haven't checked the front ones yet. my 1994 has 6"x8" as well in the front and rear.

My 2000 ford Taurus was running & then cut off & won't start back up
i think they are 6.5 inchs you will need 4 of them. 2 for the front doors. 2 for when you open the back hatch. witch all you have to do is take the panels off they are pretty simple (for the doors and the back.) my email is shawnalanjackson@hotmail.com if you want to talk more about it b/c i have a 92 Ford Taurus wagon also. HOPE THIS HELPS.
The antenna connection, for your 2000 Ford Taurus, is on the back of the radio. The antenna cable goes from the radio to the connection in the windshield.
the front door and back door speakers are 6" x 8 " speakers
