Sources of carbon dioxide are from the burning of fossil fuels from both cars and factories. Also, volcanic vents add a large amount of carbon dioxide to our atmosphere.

According to the law of conservation of mass, there technically is no "source" for carbon dioxide. However, animals convert oxygen into carbon dioxide during respiration. The burning of fossil fuels is probably the largest contributor of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

As much as i have studied Biology, i have never heard respiration using carbondoxide unless producing carbondoxide....check through your question again.

about 20% of the air you breath in is Co2 gas you can not use this therefore breath it out again.
