Electron cloud
Electrons take up the least amount of space compared to protons and neutrons. Protons and neutrons are much larger in size compared to electrons and make up the majority of an atom's volume due to their mass.
The thing that takes up the most space of an atom at about 99.99% of the size of the atom is empty space. The majority of the remaining 0.01% is found in the nucleus and about 0.00001% of the atom is taken by the electrons.
Protons.
Yes it does take up space.
The proton contributes more even though there are equal numbers of both electrons and protons. The mass of a proton is one thousand times greater than the mass of an electron. Thus, the proton contributes more.
The space in which electrons move is huge compared to the space occupied by the atomic nucleus. Electrons are found in electron clouds that extend far beyond the nucleus, making up most of the volume of an atom. The nucleus, where the protons and neutrons are located, is very small in comparison.
Is anything that takes up space
Yes. Most pictures take up about 1MB of space.
they don't take any space up
take it out and shove it up your but and fell the electrons in your but
No, light does not take up physical space because it is made up of particles called photons that have no mass and do not occupy physical space.
A model that can be built to not take up a bunch of space, perhaps a pop up model. It would only take up a little space, yet could be quite elaborate.
