I am assuming you have the 2.0L? If so this is a distributor-less engine with coil over plug ignition. The spark signal comes from the crankshaft position sensor.

when you look at the top of the motor you will see four black plastic caps with wires going to them you need to take them off and you will need a long spark plug remover to get to the spark plugs but that is were they are located
