if it is like my bike 2005 Honda foreman rubicon, you can find the spark plug under the seat. you have to take off the plastic part on the left side of the seat to acess the spark plug hole. by the way, the spark plug is very deep you probably need an extention, and a deep socket...
That is the gasket. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX A gasket or washer is NOT required on a tapered seat spark plug.
A 1968 Ford Galaxie 500 with a 390 engine should use a spark plug such as an E3 brand spark plug. This plug should have a tapered seat with 18mm threads.
under the seat look for the plug and un plug it
To change a spark plug you need to take off the seat and the side panel on the right side. After you do this the spark plug will be in front of the carb and on top of the engine block.
under the seat you have to take off a plastic tube on the upper left side to acess the spark plug.
If you have oil on your spark plug it most likely means you have a bad valve seat. A compression check and cylinder leak down test is what you need to do.
take the seat off
Take the seat off , then the right side cover . The spark plug will be behind the ground cable on top of the motor . Should be a special spark plug tool in your tool kit .
Remove the seat , look through the opening where the gas tank meets the rear plastic fairing . You should see the spark plug boot.
when standing behind machine, spark plug will be located on the left side of engine. to access this you must first remove the seat, then lift up the black rubber flap covering carb, then remove the the chamber device on the air intake. after this is complete you will see the spark plug and the spark plug wire
A 1965 Chevy didn't come with a 350 and HEI. Best guess would be to use a spark plug for a vehicle that came with that engine and ignition. If the engine has iron heads, it probably needs a tapered seat plug. A good starting point would be R44TS or R44T(with washer) if not a tapered seat plug. For plug gap, try about .045".
