The EGR Valve is located on the top front of the engine. It is part of the throttlebody.
the spark plugs are under the plastic panel, its a plastic panel on the engine and i think on that plastic panel you can see words like Mercedes or 300,25 valve....depends of the model,so you have to unscrew that panel and under the panel are the spark plugs
If it's an 8 valve engine and not the 16 valve: Bosch Spark plugs have a gap of 0.8mm NGK spark plugs need a gap of 0.9mm 16 Valve engines have a 0.9mm gap on each type of spark plug
The exat location of the spark plugs depends on whether you have a 3.0 DOHC 24 valve engine or a 3.0 OHV 12 valve engine. Follow the spark plug wires, which are the large grey colored electrical wires you see near the top of the engine. They will lead you right to the spark plugs.
In the valve covers, 3 in each valve cover.
Intake 0.40mm Exhaust 0.60mm cold set
The valve cover says 2.3-16. The trunk has 2.3-16 badges.
Simple. There is a circular gasket for each spark plug between located between the valve cover and the engine. If they are not properly sealed, the oil from the top of engine will leak out of the valve cover and pool into the spark plug sockets. You must remove the oil BEFORE you remove the spark plugs. Anyway, the fix is purchase and install a new valve cover gasket and spark plug gaskets and use a gasket sealant.
Intake: 0.15mm Exhaust 0.30mm
under what appears to be the valve cover on top of the engine
The spark plugs are under the plug wires in the middle of the valve cover.
hello the spark plugs are ressed into the valve covers follow the wires from the ignition coil packs. thx
