Roughly 1,000 mph in the temperate zones, and close to zero at the poles. You can calculate the speed of rotation at your location. The speed of rotation is equal to the cosine of your latitude multiplied by 1041.

I live in Sacramento, California, USA. My latitude is about 38 degrees. My speed of rotation is cosine 38 * 1041, which is 994 MPH.
At the equator the speed of the earth rotation is approximately 1000 mph
Earth's rotational velocity is approximately 1,674.4 km/h

The circumference of the Earth at the equator is 25,000 miles. The Earth rotates in about 24 hours. Therefore, if you were to hang above the surface of the Earth at the equator without moving, you would see 25,000 miles pass by in 24 hours, at a speed of 25000/24 or just over 1000 miles per hour.
The Earth has a circumference of 40,000 km.

If it rotates in 24 hours, that would be 1,667 km/hour. Since each mile is equal to 1.609 km., that is equivalent to 1,036 mph.

Because the Earth is a spheroid, the rotational speed differs depending on latitude. At the equator it is 1,874 kph (1,040 mph) whereas at the (Geographic) North Pole it would be close to zero.

Does the sun come up and set at the same speed?

Yes, the effect is due not to the Sun moving but to the Earth rotating and the speed of rotation of the Earth is constant.

Why earths rotating speed is neglected while calculating the speed of aeroplane?

The air arround Earth has usually the same speed as the rotating Earth itself. That is much different to camparing that with a ship on a river, where you move much faster to the sea by the water stream than to the well-spring of the river.

Why we cannot fell the movement of the earth?

I think cause earth is rotating at a constant speed nd we are well adapted to that speed. Bt I wonder that if earth stopped then we will fall due to momentum or not.

What will happen if the earth starts rotating at a faster speed?

I'm sure it would effect the earth's electromagnetic field as it is the spinning of the earth's core that creates the field.

Will the earth spin quicker in 100 years?

It is not likely that the Earth will spin quicker, as it has been rotating at nearly the same speed for at least 2,000 years.

Which part of earth's surface has the greatest rotational speed about Earth's axis. Which part has the greatest linear speed relative to Earth's axis?

In the case of a solid rotating object, the rotational speed is the same for all parts. The linear speed is greatest at points that are furthest from the axis of rotation - in other words, at the equator.

Can earth have 30 seconds in a minute?

No, earth cannot have 30 seconds in a minute. Unless it started rotating at twice the speed (making a day half as long).

What cycle occurs from the earth rotating?

The day/night cycle results from the Earth rotating.

Why is there a difference in travel times between a London to New York and b New York to London Should the relative speed with earth's rotation speed be also taken into consideration here?

Short answer: Yes. When travelling by air from east to west the earth is rotating underneath and towards the aircraft, so the reletive speed-above-ground is faster than when travelling from west to east where the earth is rotating in the same direction as the aircraft is attempting to travel.

Is the sun constantly rotating and revolving around the earth?

no, it's the Earth that is constantly rotating around the Sun
