The stratified squarmos epithelium is the name for the group of cells which line your mouth, oesophagus and a few other places. They are useful and non-fatal. See related link.
The stratified squamos lines the inside of the mouth.
The esophagus is part of the gastrointestinal tract, and from mouth to anus, the entire tract is lined with a mucosal epithelial tissue. The linings are named, in order from inner to outer, the mucosa, submucosa, muscularis, and serosa.

Anywhere on the body that is subject to a lot of friction like the palm of the hand is going to be made up of stratified squamous epithelium which has multiple layers that can wear off. palmar aponeurosis a thickening of the deep fascia covering the palm of the hand. palmar aponeurosis is composed of very dense connective tissue that extends out into each of the fingers.
According to my histology textbook, non-keratinized stratified squamous epithelium lines the length of the Esophagus. not too sure why though!! when cells are not keratinised the surface cells can be used alternatively to protect the underlying cells. this only occurs in areas where there will be very little friction therefore damage caused to the cells. WHY its non-kerantinized, because its WET. keratinized stratified squamous epithelium is dry (nails, hair, skin).
squamos cell carcinoma please explain

Squamous epithelium is also called as the pavement epithelium.
