39" to 43" is the bar height guideline ,then the height of the top of the rail will be around 6 to 9". It should stick out from the face of the bar to allow room for most of a customer's feet, at least 7 to 8" but should still be close enough to the customer's edge of the bar so that he can reach it. For those customers that like standing , you want the foot rail to be about 6-10" from the outside
edge of the bar.
There are two schools of thought: one says the bottom edge of the chair rail should be 32 inches from the floor. Another says you should measure the height of the wall (distance from floor to ceiling) and divide it by 3, then install the chair rail at this 1/3 distance from the floor. Ultimately, from a practical point of view, bring one of your chairs close to the wall and see where it will hit the wall and place the rail right there.
General rule: Chair rail should be 1/3 up from floor. This is between 32' and 36" for a normal 8 ft. ceiling.
I have installed it at 32" and 36" to the top.
Between 910mm and 1m depending on which country you are in and what type of handrail i.e. scaffold or permanent
Top of rail must be between 34 and 38 inches vertically off the front edge of the tread nosing.
The standard height of a hand rail is thirty-three inches, with an acceptable range of three inches in either direction. The acceptable height for a balcony or deck rail might be different.
#6" on stairs and 42" on landings and overlooks.
The standard height of a push bar is 2.5 to 3 feet. This allows the bar to make contact with most vehicles directly on their bumper.
I assume the 'railings' mean the horizontal bar that often runs on the floor along the foot of the bar. If this is the case, the bar is there so a patron standing or leaning while drinking at the bar can put a foot on it - so the rail is a foot bar.
If i understand the question correctly, the bar size and it's material depends on the weight of rail that is bought...the weight of the rail is determined by a three foot section, there are various types of rail, for instance, a 115RE rail means that brand new that rail will weigh 115 lbs per three foot. The bar has to match the rail because different rail are different heights, weights, and overall, different measurements on a cross section
Balcony Height is in between bar height and standard seating height, approximately 20" to 22" high. Standard height chairs have seats that are usually between 17" and 19" high, and bar stools are normally 24" to 26" high.
Standard bar stools are 30 inches and smaller counter stools are usually 24 inches. They make bar stools in different sizes but those are the standards.
34 inches to the center of the bar.
Most common height 30".
Standard bar height is 42 inches. Standard counter for a breakfast bar is 36 inches. Typically you want about 12 inches of clearance for your legs. Standard bar stool height is therefore 30 inches and standard counter stool height is 24 inches.
There's no single standard, but the most common heights for bar stools are 30 inches and 24 inches (seat height).
Bar-winged Rail was created in 1866.
I usually fit them 40 inches high.
anywhere between 1 -1.5 meters
