It is a common misconception that the LCBO and Beer Store are both gov't owned, they are NOT! (The LCBO IS gov't owned and operated. Consider what the acronym "LCBO" stands for) The Brewer's Retail (BRI) purchase their Beer from them. Hence the wage difference's. There would be a standard minimum and maximum wage if they were both gov't owned. BRI is independant. They both have their own union representing them!
LCBO roughly starts at 13.25 I beleive.
TBS now starts at 9 bucks.Due to a lousy union full of old, underworked, overpaid people.
There are people who basically work as Customer service reps, and with enough time in, make 28 dollars....
