It is very simple to change the keyboard on this model. The Acer 5720z is a fairly good laptop having a good life.
First: Remove Battery
Remove the 3 M2.5x4 screws as this will allow you to remove the top cover at the rear of the keyboard allowing you easy access to the keyboard. Be careful when prying off the cover as to much pressure will break the plastic. Once the rear cover is removed, remove the keyboard and pull out the ribbon cable attaching the keyboard to the motherboard.
Install the keyboard and put it back together.

It supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to pair it with compatible Bluetooth keyboards for a more convenient typing experience. Just ensure that Bluetooth is enabled on the device and follow the pairing instructions for the keyboard.
I'm not sure on the "locking the keyboard" part...but " Windows key+L " locks down the entire system on any computer running a Windows OS.
