There are several stock tire sizes for the 1990 Isuzu Trooper II. In order to determine the tire size, look at the markings on the sidewall of your current tires.
P235/75 R15 was stock
265/75/16 on stock wheel without rubbing. Any aftermarket wheel, especially considering backspacing or larger tire size will likely hit the wheel-well liner.

5w-30 is the best to use on the trooper, i take it, it is the 3.0DT? Its a very fickle engine and doesnt like any other type
Take your socket set and try various sockets until you find one that fits...then look at the size on the side of socket...BINGO!!! now you know the size.
