Without giving away the ending, it is about a young lady who was given to the King by her father (in other stories she volunteered to help her father from being imprisoned) by telling him that his daughter can spin straws into gold. When she found it hopeless to try a man came in promising to turn the straws to gold for a price. Each day, the King was amazed by her "gift" and told her to make more, and each day the man would turn the straws to gold trading his gift for a possession of hers. The last time the King asked her to do the task, he promised her his hand in marriage and for his father to be free of debt. On the last day, the man would only do the job in return for her first born. Without really thinking about it, the woman agreed and got married to the King. When her first child was born, the man came back to get his payment, the Queen in panic asked him for anything else not willing to let go of her child. The man said if she figures out his name he would leave her alone. **Won't spoil ending though, sorry!**
"Rumpelstiltskin" is a fairy tale about a miller's daughter who is forced to spin straw into gold by a magical imp named Rumpelstiltskin. In exchange for his help, she promises him her firstborn child. However, she ultimately outsmarts Rumpelstiltskin by guessing his name, thereby breaking the deal and keeping her child.
