Depends what kind of scorpion it is. But lots of scorpions have about a teaspoon of venom.
Because the venom is in the scorpions tail for use when it stings.
Scorpion bites are unlikely to happen to anyone. Scorpion stings, however, contain venom which can have different effects on humans. This can range from a mild, local, inflammatory reaction similar to a bee sting, to serious systemic reactions (for example, scorpions in Trinidad can cause acute pancreatitis and other debilitating symptoms) and a few (very very few species) species can pose a lethal risk to humans. Anaphylaxis to scorpion venom can also be fatal.
Yes it is, A Scorpion carries higher amounts of Venom
Arizona More spesifically the Sonoran desert, which also includes southern California and parts of Mexico. Fatalities from scorpion venom are rare in the U.S. While thousands of people in Arizona are stung each year, only 2 deaths due to bark scorpion venom have been recorded in 4 decades. This is partly due to the fact that scorpion venom is meant to kill smaller animals, not humans, and because of quick access to anti venom.
there is anti - venom carnage vulture shocker venom (mac gargan) kingpin scorpion venom type of scorpion beetle lizard dracula iron spider ben riely that's all i got there is more the worst is anti venom he killed spiderman
no, they spit it out imidiatly
Heterometrus spinifer's venom is only slightly toxic (Some people claim it can be compared to a heavy bee sting) If you are allergic to its venom or have a weak heart, it can in rare cases prove fatal.
Yes and No. Yes there is a relation, butno, it's not indicative of the venom AMOUNT. It's not so much the amount as the potency/concentration of the venom. The rule of thumb is that a scorpion with a thick tail in relation to it's pedipalps (pincers) is dangerous while scorpion with a thin tail in relation to it's pedipalps is not dangerous.
A scorpion is found in the kingdom Animalia. They are a type of arthropod that can sting their prey with venom.
