The nearest equivalent of a "holy city" in scientology is Clearwater, Florida, in the United States. Clearwater is often referred to as scientology's "Mecca" and scientology has substanial property assets in the town. However, Clearwater is not so much a holy place as an administrative centre: it is not important because of events which happen there as most holy cities are (Jerusalem for example). It is simply the place where L Ron Hubbard the founder of scientology chose to establish its administrative centre - and where the highest level "training" was to be availible.
