The tundra is cold all year, with very little precipitation. The average winter temperature is -34° C (-30° F), but the average summer temperature is 3-12° C (37-54° F). The tundra's vegetation includes moss, lichens, low shrubs, and marshes (in the summer). Only few animals live there, consisting of rabbits, reindeer, wolves, and foxes. ;)
