permafrost
The Arctic Climate of Cold Winters and Warm Summers. The biome is named as TUNDRA. The permanently frozen ground is referred to as 'permafrost'.
Freezing Rain is frozen ice and it breaks when it touches the ground.
No because a solid cannot be frozen unless covered in ice.
Partially frozen rain is called Snow. This is because when you usually see the first snow fall, it doesn't pile up on the ground right away. It takes time until there are many snow flakes. But what does happen is that it will melt right away. So it's not rain, all water, its not hail, totally frozen ice, but it's Snow. Frozen, but not to a great extent.
The only similarity between the Arctic and a desert is the fact that both have very low precipitation. However, most of the Arctic is frozen sea ice and not solid ground.

an arctic region is a region full of ice and snow. it is surrounded by other countries. the arctic region is part of Canada. polar bears live there. the arctic ocean is part of the arctic region. it is freezing in the arctic region. they evacuated all of the penguins from the arctic region to Antarctica because polar bears eat penguins and eventually they will become extinct. sea ice covers part of the arctic ocean. the ground is known as permafrost because the ground is frozen all year round. Hope this helps!!! P.S I'm only in grade five but I'm really smart.
Arctic wolves dig their dens. If the ground is frozen, they would find an old den in a rock cleft or cave.
