A lot of factors play into this answer. Altitude, type of fuel your running, outside temp., will even play a factor. If it is a real DZ motor, you have 11.5:1 mechanical, and about the same effective, compression ratio, and a large, solid lifter cam. That motor was designed for 100 octane, leaded fuel. It is a factory race engine. Normally, I would try to run about 10, or 12 degrees advanced. However, with 92 octane fuel, it would ping itself to death. I would just power time it. Start around 6 degrees advanced, (BTDC) and keep advancing it until it pings under load, then back it off about 2 degrees.

What do you need to know about a 94 Z28 camaro?
Yes
Z28 is an option package that was, well, optional on Camaro's. Basically, a Camaro Z28 is a Camaro that's set up from the factory to be a bit faster than a regular Camaro.
The Camaro Z28 can hold up to 15.5 gallons of gas. The first Camaro Z28 was released to the public in the year 1974.
