For my '05 Speed Triple the specs are 34/42 front/rear. This is for 2-up riding. The specs have not changed between '05 and '09 (1050 Speed Triple). Many riders feel that for solo riding 32/36 yields a more compliant ride at high speeds, with the same tire life.
Adjust tire pressure to the proper specs on all tires and take it for a short drive. It will reset before you get down the street. If it doesn't reset you have a problem with one of the tire pressure sensors.

Low tire pressure or failed tire pressure sensor.Low tire pressure or failed tire pressure sensor.
Harley-Davidson motorcycle company recommends a tire air pressure of 18 pounds for the street glide model. Substitute tires may require a different air pressure.
Tire pressure is related to what type of tire it is. the recommended pressure for the tire is on the side wall of the tire ========================================================== That is the MAXIMUM cold tire inflation pressure that is shown on the side of the tire
40 Rear, 36 Front assuming stock tires.
Air leaves a tire when the tire valve is open due to the pressure. The pressure outside of the tire is lower than the pressure inside the tire.
It could, some vehicles do have a tire pressure sensor in the spare.
Increased temperature will increase tire pressure a bit. Lower ambient pressure will increase tire pressure a bit as well.
Tire pressure is not determined by the make or model of the vehicle. It is determined by the tire size. You can find the maximum tire pressure on the sidewall of every tire.
Tire pressure is more dependent on what type of tire you have. If you look on the side of the tire it should actually tell you what the correct pressure is for that specific tire.
