yes they will but, you have to get the correct size rim and tire. i recommend a 22x8.5 rim with a offset of at least 34 with the tire size being 245/30/22.
The stock (OEM) tire size for a 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe is 245/75R16.

The tire size should be P235-75R -15. I have a 1998 Chevy Cheyenne 1500 4x4. Tire size is 265-75R-16

Open your door there should be a sticker there telling you the tire size and proper inflation or else look in the owner's manual.
If you open the drivers door you will see a sticker on the door jam and it will tell you what size tire belongs on that truck.
Check the drivers door tag, it should be there. If not look in the owners manual. Other than that set them to 32 psi when cold.
