There are many ways to decorate switch plate covers. One could paint a switch plate cover in a way that is personalized like painting it oneself or by painting it to match the room.

Not sure what you mean.. Dry point is a form of printing where you scratch into a metal ( or plastic) plate, cover with ink and then print.Never heard of Dry Point painting
